After your purchase

Once your purchase is complete, you will be emailed a licence key that will enable you to use all 1.x (or 1.x.x) versions of Energy Lens (i.e. any version number that starts with a "1.").

If you make payment at the same time as your order, or you place a purchase order, your licence key will be emailed to you as soon as your order is processed by share-it (this happens immediately for online or phone orders). Otherwise your licence key will be emailed to you as soon as payment is received by share-it. We recommend ordering securely online with a credit or debit card because that way you will receive your licence key immediately.

If, after purchasing a licence key, you haven't already downloaded Energy Lens, you will need to download it and install it on your computer. Entering your licence key into the software will permanently unlock the full version of Energy Lens.

Upgrade policy

The current version of Energy Lens is 1.6. Once you have purchased:

1.x (or 1.x.x) minor upgrades will be always be free. To upgrade to a new minor release, simply download and install it - it will automatically work without you needing a new licence key.
Major upgrades (e.g. 2.0) will be free for 12 months after your purchase. If you are entitled to a major upgrade, you will also be entitled to any minor upgrades for that major version (e.g. 2.x or 2.x.x).

NB Major upgrades contain what we consider to be significant enhancements to Energy Lens. We don't have a fixed schedule for releases of major upgrades, but they are unlikely to occur more frequently than once a year.
